“Hotel Hegra is a lovely place to stay right in the heart of Amsterdam. The location on the Herengracht canal is excellent, with everything you need within walking distance. The hotel is clean, cosy, and in a historical building which gives it an authentic Dutch charm. I especially enjoyed the complimentary coffee and beautiful canal views. The staff were welcoming and very helpful throughout our stay, I would highly recommend.”
“I passed three nights here early January. It’s a hidden gem in Amsterdam. The room was small but well equipped, with refilled water everyday and delicious welcoming cookies. There’s also a coffee corner on first floor for coffee, hot chocolate, cookies etc. Location perfect, easy transportation to every sightseeing spot in the city. If you choose garden view room, the room will be very quiet (except noise from your neighbors if they don’t pay attention to the voice. In general it’s fine and it’s a common problem of all old buildings). Within walking distance there’s a lot of choices for food. The front desk was welcoming. Had a great conversation with Paulo !”
